Saturday April 11 9:30A - 12:30P, 2:30P - 5:30P Led by: Hogen Roshi, Chozen Roshi and Jogen Sensei
During this retreat we will explore the theory and practices of Voice Dialogue and Zen Meditation. Voice Dialogue helps us identify voices or parts of ourselves, feel what they feel like in the body and listen to what they have to say. This technique can help us become familiar with the physical and energetic components of voices that cause suffering, broadening our awareness. For awareness melts over-identification and makes space for choice. Join us for this enlivening retreat, as we free up our vital energy and clarity, re-discovering the spacious, joy of the all inclusive heart. This is a full day workshop style retreat with two three-hour teaching sessions in the morning and evening. The teaching sessions will include theory/lecture from the teachers, exercises (journaling, drawing), break-out groups, facilitation and guided meditation. Opportunities for one-on-one facilitation sessions with Jogen Sensei are available for additional dana. Please email the email@example.com directly to inquire about the one-on-one sessions. Retreat participants will also have the opportunity to join in the meditation sessions in the early morning and late evening with the monastics at Great Vow Zen Monastery via Livestream.
